CANCELLATION, REFUND AND RECORDING POLICY

Appointments are reserved specifically for each client. Please read the following terms before booking a consultation with Bernard Ilsley.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or change an appointment, you must give at least 24 hours’ notice before the agreed appointment date and time.

Cancellations or requests to reschedule made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the consultation fee being retained.

If you are unable to attend your appointment and no notice is given, the appointment will be treated as a missed consultation and the fee will not normally be refundable.

Consultation Fees and Refunds

All consultation fees are payable in full in advance of the appointment. A consultation is not considered confirmed until the required payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Payment is made for the consultant’s professional time and for the appointment time reserved specifically for you.

Once a consultation has taken place, no refund will be given simply because a client is dissatisfied with the content, information or outcome of the consultation.

No particular result, message, prediction or outcome can be guaranteed.

Consultation Length

The stated appointment length is an approximate maximum consultation period.

The consultant will determine when the consultation has naturally concluded and reserves the right to bring a consultation to an end where appropriate.

A consultation may also be ended if a client behaves in an abusive, threatening or otherwise inappropriate manner.

Late Arrival

If a client is late for an appointment, the consultation may still need to finish at the originally scheduled time so that subsequent appointments are not affected.

Additional time cannot always be provided to compensate for late arrival.

Recordings

Where a recording of a consultation is offered or provided, this is an additional service and cannot be guaranteed.

Recordings may occasionally be affected by technical failure, equipment malfunction, internet connection problems, file corruption or other circumstances outside the consultant’s control.

The failure of a recording does not invalidate a consultation that has otherwise taken place and does not automatically entitle the client to a refund.

Once a recording has been supplied, the client is responsible for downloading, saving, storing and safeguarding their copy.

If a client is unsure how to download or save a recording, they are advised to seek assistance from a family member, friend or other person who is familiar with their device. Bernard Ilsley is unable to provide individual technical support for downloading, saving or storing recordings.

Bernard Ilsley is not responsible for replacing or automatically resending recordings that are subsequently lost, deleted, misplaced or otherwise unavailable to the client.

Where an archived copy is still available and the client asks for the recording to be resent, an administration fee may be charged for retrieving and resending the recording.

Clients are welcome to make their own recording of a consultation for personal use, provided permission is requested beforehand.

Online and Telephone Consultations

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have a suitable telephone, internet connection or device for their consultation.

Bernard Ilsley cannot be held responsible for technical difficulties arising from the client’s equipment, telephone service or internet connection.

Where a consultation is interrupted by a technical problem, reasonable efforts will be made to reconnect and complete the remaining consultation time where possible.

Changes or Cancellation by Bernard Ilsley

In the unusual event that Bernard Ilsley needs to cancel or rearrange an appointment, the client will be offered an alternative appointment or, where appropriate, a refund of the consultation fee paid.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights a client may have under applicable consumer law.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

Except where otherwise stated, all original written content, artwork, graphics, photographs, audio, video and other original material created for and appearing on www.ilsley.com is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property rights.
